HOW TO: USE FIND_ME_PRINTING
This video will show you how to correctly print on campus using Find_Me_Printing. This is the way that we print on campus that makes all the printers accessible for faculty/staff.
HOW TO: MAKE SURE YOU'RE USING THE RIGHT PAPER SIZE IN CHROME
When printing on Google Chrome, sometimes it will change the page size to A4 automatically. This video will show you how to fix this.
STUDENTS
The printer is not named Find_Me_printing: if you are a student it should be named Find_Me_Student

If trying to use Find_me_printing or Find_me_student with Airprint, it will not work
make sure the printer is installed correctly
if the printer is installed like the screenshot on the left, Contact ITS
if installed like on the right it will work

Printing with Chromebase is a new process that requires extra steps not usual to typical printing for students
this document will show you step by step how to use these devices for printing
PRINTER SPECIFIC ISSUES
Downloading printers via Dymo: access the Dymo printing app via Citrix and install the printers desired. ADDITIONALLY: don't misuse the VPN, connecting to it even when on campus will likely cause email connection issues.
Printer solution for a lot of issues: CONNECT TO HOTCHKISS SECURE
Printing Double Sided: Go to the Apple menu - System Preferences - Printers & Scanners app. Locate your printer and select "Options & Supplies". When the new window opens, select the 'options' tab, and check the Duplex Printing Unit option. Close all windows and see if the option is now available in Word. The option should come up in print preview as “Print on Both sides” (Shown in the document below)
If new toner is needed: Notify Service Desk and we will contact our vendor
ADDITIONAL INFO
If you cannot see the Find_Me_Printing in your printers: Please confirm that the Find_Me_Printing or Find_Me_Student printer is installed on your laptop - you can confirm by checking System Preferences - Printers & Scanners and see if it's listed there.
If Find_Me_Printing is not installed: It can be installed by navigating to Mosyle Manager Self-Service under My Printers.
If printer is still not listed: contact ITS.
If printing from Chrome: open the print option -> select 'More settings' on the right side -> scroll down to 'Print using system dialog'. This will open a new window, and the printer option for Find_Me_Printing will be listed in the drop down menu. Use that option as needed.
