WELCOME SUMMER PROGRAMS!

Welcome to Hotchkiss! Here are some helpful FAQs, tips, and resources.

Hotchkiss ITS is happy to assist with tech support requests for equipment that has been provided by Hotchkiss. This includes but is not limited to laptops, monitors, projectors, printers and general network connectivity. The ITS team will be limited in its ability to support personally owned devices.

Clients can often find solutions for their tech issues contained within the articles here as well as those found on our FreshService support portal. If the issue you are experiencing falls outside of this range topics, consider calling (860) 435-4487 for one-on-one support.

PRINTER LOCATIONS:

Printing will be available in the following locations:

Class of 1964 Teaching and Learning Center: located to the rear-right of the main room
Edsel Ford Library: located on the ground level, by the elevator
Faculty Lounge: when approaching from the Faculty Lounge, this room is located through the doors immediately on the left upon the lounge, this room can also entered from the main hall

PRINTER CONNECTIONS & DRIVERS:

Printing from Mac and Windows devices should be "plug and play", meaning that once you connect the printer's usb cable to your laptop, your computer should recognize the printer and make typical printing functions available. If the computer does not recognize the printer within 30 seconds, consider installing the Xerox driver that corresponds with your device.
