Departing Faculty/Staff


Question: Can I keep my school-issued laptop or other devices?

Answer: Please return all school-issued devices to the Service Desk in the Griswold Science Building-SB Room 221.


Question: Can I purchase my school-issued equipment? 

Answer: We wipe all data and repurpose these devices.  They are used as stock to loan out to Hotchkiss Students and faculty/staff.


Question: Can you help me backup my data? (insert link to back up)

Answer: Please reach out to ITS at help@hotchkiss.org to schedule assistance.

 

Question: I am a departing faculty/staff member, when will I lose access to my account?

Answer: You will only have access until your departure date.

 

Question: I am a retiring faculty/staff member, when will I lose access to my account?

Answer: Generally speaking, you will have access to your email account until October 1st  of the year following your retirement More specifics are detailed in the Retiree Email Policy.

 


 

On-Campus Faculty Moves


Question: How can I get assistance with setting up my Family WIFI in my new on-campus residence?

Answer: ITS will be moving your family network on the scheduled date of your move

Please do not move or disconnect  any equipment.

 

Question: How long will the setup of my Family WIFI take before I can start using it?

Answer: ITS will work with the Facilities department to coordinate this prior to your arrival.

  

Question: Who should I contact if I am having connectivity issues?

Answer: Please reach out to ITS at help@hotchkiss.org for assistance.


Question: How do I get my password information for my Family WIFI?

Answer: You will receive a secure email with the network name and password. If it is forgotten you can request this information from ITS.
